Save Worthing Flower Club - Meeting Mon 10th Nov
Introduction

We are a thriving and friendly club, and new members are always made very welcome.
We meet in order to enjoy our shared interest in flowers, and of course making friends with similarly minded people makes it a great pastime.

We have one evening meeting each month.
The activities at these meetings vary. Often we are entertained by a NAFAS approved demonstrator or speaker. Other meetings may be devoted to workshops, where you will have the opportunity of hands on experience, learning flower arranging or related crafts and techniques.
At each monthly meeting we have a Club competition comprising of 2 classes - a Novice and an Open Class, giving our members the enjoyment of practicing arrangements and having the benefit of a judge providing helpful feedback.
Members often have the chance to participate in local flower festivals and exhibitions, in churches, stately homes and cathedrals as well as other locations. We also have the opportunity to be involved in competition at many different levels.

We enjoy a very close association with our local Horticultural Society which has three shows a year. Many of us compete in the flower arranging classes at these shows, where even the most novice entrants have a good time and don't feel out of place. A few members have also competed at NAFAS - Area and National levels, as well as W.A.F.A. (International) and the Chelsea Flower Show.

We hold classes for beginners and improvers, which are very popular and are great fun. Occasionally we hold Day Schools for all skill levels, with NAFAS approved teachers.
